"Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams"

At many colleges, professors are asked to give a last lecture: “What wisdom would you impart to the world if you knew it was your last chance?”  In 2007, Randy Pausch, a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon University, agreed to give a last lecture.  A few weeks later, he learned that he had only months to live - he was dying of pancreatic cancer.  He decided to give the lecture; that it would give him comfort to know that one day his kids could watch and learn from it.  He never imagined that his talk would be viewed online by millions worldwide.  Thousands of people have written to him about their life lessons.  He has also been buoyed by former students who’ve told him how his teaching made a difference to them; the greatest gift for a teacher.

Always Have Fun

Dream Big

Ask for What You Want

Dare To Take a Risk

Look for the Best In Everybody

Make Time for What Matters

Let Kids Be Themselves

These are wonderful thoughts about what is truly important in life, and hopefully will help guide the learning environment in our cluster for our children.
