The public is invited to an exhibition featuring buildings and grounds at the NTC Promenade Arts & Cultural District in Liberty Station. NTC Promenade Views & Visions engages visitors in exploring the past, the present, and the promise of 26 historic buildings on 28 park-like acres near San Diego Bay.
This exhibition takes the visitor "behind the scenes" to see how a photographer, architects, and landscape architects use their creative skills to help the non-profit NTC Foundation transform a former Navy training base into a showcase for San Diego art, design, and cultural heritage.
The exhibitors are Kevin Walsh, Kevin Walsh Photography; Andrew Spurlock, Spurlock Poirier Landscape Architects; Chris Bittner, obr ARCHITECTURE and Ralph Roesling, RNT Architects. Architectural documents are exhibited courtesy of the Corky McMillin Cos.
NTC Promenade Views & Visions opens on Friday, March 5, in conjunction with Friday Night Liberty at NTC Promenade, Roosevelt and Dewey Roads in Liberty Station. Friday Night Liberty is a free monthly first-Friday event, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., featuring open artist studios, galleries, shopping and entertainment throughout NTC Promenade.
