In response to drastic budget cuts, local rock band Temple of the Dad is holding a fundraiser to help buy instruments for the Correia Band.  As Point Loma parents work to find ways to fill the gaps in public education funding, Temple of the Dad has come through to help. Band members; Pete Mechalas, Kerry McKay, Jon Scadden, Vince Escalera and Scott Meyer all have kids in Point Loma public schools.  They’ve found a way to have fun, put on a great show and raise money for schools. Music has been an important part of their lives so they are stepping up to help provide music education to Point Loma students.  Come on out to Riley’s Music Lounge at 2901 Nimitz, April 17^th at 9:00pm. $10.00 at the door – 100% of the proceeds go to the Correia Band for much needed instruments.

SPECIAL MESSAGE: Anyone who was at the January 22nd show at Riley's is entitled to free admission due to that show ending early. Just let the person at the door know you were at that show. If however - you still wish to make a donation, it would be very much appreciated.
